The economic space miracle for small and medium-sized laboratories
With the Personal LAB, you get fast and accurate results for Total-IgE and specific-lgE in one test run. Because the compact fully automatic machine fits into the smallest space and does not burden your budget with unnecessary laboratory technology, this is ideal for small and medium-sized laboratories.
With the Personal LAB the diagnoses of an allergy in a patient can be confirmed or excluded quickly, accurately and cost-effectively. With 172 total and specific-lgE determinations per test run and individual patient printouts, a highly efficient device system is available.
The most essential of allergy treatment is a quick and accurate diagnosis. This diagnosis also includes total-lgE and specific-lgE determination as well as ECP. However, the laboratory technology required for this is usually a lot of space and a lot of investment.
The Personal LAB delivers uncompromising maximum performance in a confined space without unnecessarily burdening your budget.
The Personal LAB is a compact tabletop device.
Reagents
In the Personal LAB, all bottles (reagents – standards – controls) fit in dedicated and multifunctional racks. Different reagent-/standard-racks can be loaded on the machine. Reagent bottles up to 60 ml can be used. The rack system is designed to combine more than one test per reagent cup to ensure maximum flexibility in your daily testing routine. The loading area is easily accessible for easy and simple loading of reagents, samples and polymer tips. Reagent and sample racks are easily removable for quick storage in the refrigerator.
Multiple reagents can be loaded in standard matching bottles.
Samples
The sample identification allows true positive sample identification of samples (PSID) via an integrated barcode reader. This new feature in combination with the new sample strip loader results in the most reliable sampling, sample identification and consistency test results. The new PSID functionality makes your Personal LAB even more complete and maintains its leading position for mid-sized automated micro-ELISA instruments.

Dosing and diluting
The Personal LAB has a robotic arm operated by stepper motors and controlled by optical and mechanical sensors. It is equipped with 2 dosing systems, which allow to work independently and to allow a highly efficient pipetting. The two independent arms can use polymer tips of 1000 µl to dispense reagents in multi-dispensing mode and 200-µl-tips to deliver samples, standards and controls.
The device is equipped with a pneumatic level sensor -PLS- (patented) for the polymer tip. The polymer tip system is equipped with a clot detection system. If the amount of fluid is insufficient, the device warns the operator both acoustically and visually. The Personal LAB performs automatic pre-dilution of samples, standards and controls. Up to 192 pre-dilutions can be carried out per run.

Easily accessible liquid containers are easy to handle.
Incubate and mixing
The plate holders can perform linear shaking with a programmable intensity and period. During incubation, the plates are placed in two independent chambers, which are thermally insulated at the temperature programmed by the operator.
Washing
The washing station has an 8-channel wash head with two parallel needles each, suitable for washing both ‘U’ and flat bottom wells. Cycles, volume and number of washes can be easily programmed by the operator and three wash buffers can be loaded on board at the same time.
Washing volume: programmable from 100 to 2000 ml
Number of cycles: programmable from 1 to 9 cycles
Soaking time: programmable from 1 second to 3 minutes
Pressure: programmable
Each protocol can be programmed by the operator with multiple washes that differ in cycle, volume, holding time, and pressure.
